Figur 2 Seater Sofa
The Figur wraps around you — and it's deep enough to disappear into.
The Figur is the cocooning one. Its backrest curves around the seat, and it sits a generous 107cm deep, so it's less a sofa you sit on than one you sink into and settle for the evening. It's finished with double stitching along the curves, built on high-density foam with feather-backed cushions, and the covers come off when you need them to. Three colourways, no assembly — ready to disappear into the day it arrives. By Ethnicraft.

Why the Ethnicraft Figur Is Worth It
Some sofas are for sitting up in. The Figur is for sinking into. Its backrest curves right around the seat, and the sofa wraps you in rather than props you up — the kind of sofa an evening quietly disappears into. It's finished with double stitching along the curves, built on high-density foam with feather-backed cushions, and its covers come off when life calls for it. The fabric is a hard-wearing structured weave rated to 100,000 rubs, so the comfort doesn't come at the cost of durability. Ready to use, no assembly — the cocoon arrives built.
Not Sure Yet? Book a Free Consultation
A deep sofa is a personal thing — so it's worth being sure.
The Figur sits deep, and a deep, curved sofa suits some people perfectly and doesn't suit others — it depends on how you like to sit and how much room you have. If you're weighing it up, we're happy to help you decide. Come and sink into it in our Douglas, Cork showroom, compare it against our other sofas, and see the three colourways in the light. Or book a free consultation and we'll talk it through — no pressure to buy.
It helps to have a few things to hand:
- Your room measurements — so we can check if the 2 seater works in your space
- A sense of how you like to sit — upright, or sinking right in
- Anything you're matching to — flooring, walls, or other furniture
Whether you land on the Figur or something else in the range, we'll help you get it right.
